Meet Our Founders
George Spence
Born and raised in Chesapeake, George grew up working on his grandfather’s farm and has carried those values of hard work and integrity into more than 20 years in the pest control industry. He and his wife, both Hickory High graduates, are proud parents of two daughters active in competitive cheer and love spending their summers traveling together. George co‑founded Chesapeake Pest Control with Adam Wallace, growing it from a two‑man operation into a team of 23+ employees and a nonprofit dedicated to supporting local children.
Adam Wallace
Born and raised in Hampton Roads and a longtime Chesapeake resident, he carries forward a family legacy in the termite and pest control industry—now three generations strong. He is a proud father of six and actively involved in multiple local sports organizations. His dedication to family, community, and quality service is at the heart of Chesapeake Pest Control.
Meet Our Crew
Pest Manager - Griffin Bishop
Griffin Bishop is a Chesapeake native who has built his life in the community, where he now owns a home and raises his family. He enjoys working in the pest control industry for its problem-solving nature and the collaborative effort required to deliver effective results. Outside of work, Griffin loves traveling with his wife, exploring everything from national parks to coastal beaches and mountain breweries. He is also passionate about coaching youth soccer and has been actively involved in the Hampton Roads area for over a decade.
Structure Manager - Barry Cannon
Barry also grew up in the Chesapeake area, having previous management experience and a passion for perfection he was a perfect fit in our structural repair division, making sure all of our repairs are completed correctly and not leaving a work site until it looks the way he expects. Barry and his family enjoy a lot of time on the ball field and getting out on the fishing boat when the weather is nice.
